New Life Christian Church, located at 5897 Prestley Mill Road Douglasville, Georgia, will host a “Blessing of the Bikes” event on Sunday, March 21, 2010 beginning at 10:00 AM. Pastor David Lion will perform a special prayer ceremony asking God to bless and protect the riders and their bikes. There will be live music for all to enjoy as well as a pig roast. Bikers may join in on a charity run and a 50/50 pot. Tickets for these events will be sold the day of the event. Proceeds will go to NLCC ministries. In addition, each biker attending will receive a special gift. For presidents of biker clubs, there will be recognition and special seating for their club members (if possible please inform us of how many club members and family members will be attending).
