Kenny’s Freedom and Independence Motorcycle Poker Run Fundraiser will start at 11 a.m. Sept. 18, in Crossroads Church parking lot, 5960 Stewart Parkway in Douglasville.

This is a fundraiser for Douglasville native Kenny Sorrows, who is suffering from the progressive auto-immune disease multiple sclerosis. The goal is to buy Sorrows a wheelchair-accessible van.

Registration for the poker run is 10 a.m. The ride should end around 3:30. Each rider pays $25, each passenger $10, and $5 for extra poker cards.

During the ride there will be barbecue plates for $5 each, a silent auction, door prizes and live music.
